Fuimos al museo de ginebra, una bebida alcohólica muy típica de la zona, similar al vodka pero hecha a base de granos. El museo no resultó tan interesante, pero igual nos divertimos y, por supuesto, también hicimos una degustación. Existe la ginebra natural, pero las más ricas son las de sabores, como limón, manzana y otras variedades.
Cerca del museo está la biblioteca pública de Bélgica. Pasamos un rato para echar un vistazo, y mi amorcito quiso ver qué libros había sobre arquitectura.

We visited the gin museum, a traditional alcoholic drink of the region, similar to vodka but made from grains. The museum wasn’t particularly interesting, but we still had fun and, of course, enjoyed a tasting as well. There is natural gin, but the most delicious ones are the flavored varieties, such as lemon, apple, and others.
Near the museum is the public library of Belgium. We stopped by for a while to look around, and my sweetheart wanted to see what books they had on architecture.

We gingen naar het jenevermuseum, een typische alcoholische drank uit de streek, vergelijkbaar met vodka maar gemaakt van granen. Het museum zelf was niet heel boeiend, maar we hebben ons toch vermaakt en natuurlijk ook een proeverij gedaan. Er bestaat natuurlijke jenever, maar de lekkerste zijn die met smaakjes, zoals citroen, appel en andere varianten.
Vlakbij het museum ligt de openbare bibliotheek van België. We brachten er even een bezoekje, en mijn liefje wilde graag zien welke boeken er over architectuur te vinden waren.

Nous sommes allés au musée du genièvre, une boisson alcoolisée très typique de la région, similaire à la vodka mais élaborée à base de céréales. Le musée n’a pas été particulièrement intéressant, mais nous nous sommes tout de même amusés et, bien sûr, nous avons aussi fait une dégustation. Il existe du genièvre naturel, mais les meilleurs sont ceux aromatisés, comme citron, pomme et d’autres variétés.
Près du musée se trouve la bibliothèque publique de Belgique. Nous y avons passé un moment pour jeter un coup d’œil, et mon chéri a voulu voir quels livres ils avaient sur l’architecture.
